I am a Hypnotherapist and Personal Development Mentor based near Winchester.

 

My work is founded  upon helping people understand themselves more deeply so they can navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and ease. Working together with my client, I  can then use a wide range of techniques, including gentle hypnotherapy, to make sure that every individual makes the progress they deserve.

 

With a long career spent in teaching and leadership, I bring a calm, grounded presence to my work based upon many years of experience in supporting people through change.  My approach is reflective rather than directive, rooted in conversation, curiosity, and the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding. By guiding an individual to recognise their patterns, soften old habits, and develop new ways of thinking and responding I can bring about sustainable change.

 

As a qualified hypnotherapist I can support clients to overcome significant  challenges that are affecting their future through focused work that changes deeply rooted subconscious beliefs.

 

Whatever a client brings to our work together. I know that, through a deep understanding of their goals and my unique experience, I can build a programme to help clients explore what sits beneath the surface — the beliefs, emotions, and stories that quietly shape how they live. My work is not about quick fixes or high‑performance routines; it’s about steady, sustainable growth that feels true to the individual.

People come to me when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply ready for something to shift. They leave with a clearer sense of themselves, a calmer inner landscape, and practical ways to move forward.

I believe that no person is 'broken' or in need of fixing. Instead, I see every individual as possessing an inherent capacity for growth and self-correction.

My work is firmly rooted in the conviction that deep-seated change is possible when we engage with the mind gently and purposefully.

How We Work Together

The therapeutic journey at Aligning Minds is fundamentally collaborative. I don't work 'on' you; I work 'with' you. Our sessions are evidence-informed and highly structured, ensuring that every minute is directed toward your specific goals for mental resilience and personal growth.

Focused Attention: You remain fully aware and in control the entire time, but you become temporarily detached from everyday distractions.

Subconscious Alignment: We will use repetition and visualisation to help you reframe negative thought patterns and align your conscious intentions with your deeper motivations.

Self-Hypnosis: Over time, if appropriate, a I may teach you techniques to practice self-hypnosis on your own.

Home Practice: I may, if appropriate, provide audio files for you to listen to in your own time in order to deepen your experience and the effectiveness of therapy.

Your safety and consent are fundamental to my practice. We move at a pace that reflects your thoughts and feelings, making sure you feel grounded and secure. This structured approach helps demystify the process, making hypnotherapy a practical tool for real-world change.
